1.JOB ANALYSIS
Job analysis is a systematic investigation of the tasks, duties & responsibilities to do a job. Job analysis is a formal & detailed examination of jobs. Job task, Job duties & Job responsibilities

2.HR PLANNING
H.R.Planning is a forward looking function.The basic objectives of H.R. Planning is forecasting personal requirements, cope with changes, use existing manpower productivity & promote employee in a systematic manner.

3.RECRUITMENT
Recruitment is a process of locating &encouraging potential applicants to apply for existing or anticipated job openings. It aims at attracting a large numbe of qualified applicants & offering enough information for unqualified persons to self select themselves out.

4.SELECTION
Selecting is process of picking individuals who have relevant qualifications to fill jobs in an organization.
It aims at choosing individual who can most successfully perform the job from lots of qualified candidates.

5.PLACEMENT
Placement is the actual posting of any employee to a specified job. It involves assigning a specific rank & responsibility to an employee.

6.INDUCTION
Induction is a task of introducing the new employees to organization, its policies, procedures & rules.

During this procedure, the new employee is provided with the information about the company, its history, its current position, the benefits for which he is eligible i.e. leave policies, rest periods etc..
Lectures, handbooks, films, CDs may be provided to the new employee.

7.INTERNAL MOBILITY
The lateral or vertical movement of(position,transfer or separation) of an employee within an organization is called internal mobility. It may take place between the jobs in various departments or divisions.
